We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team. As a Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall visual appeal and organization of our store. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining a clean and well-stocked display area, receiving deliveries, managing inventory, preparing fresh products, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that the display area is clean, organized, and visually appealing to attract customers.
• Stock and replenish merchandise according to established guidelines to ensure availability and presentable appearance.
• Price products accurately and ensure that all items are properly labeled.
• Receive deliveries, verify the contents against purchase orders, and report any discrepancies or damages.
• Maintain an accurate inventory report of goods and supplies, including monitoring stock levels and conducting regular stock counts.
• Prepare fresh fruits and other perishable products into ready-to-eat items, following hygiene and safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers, answering queries, and ensuring their needs are met.
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify trends, customer preferences, and promotional opportunities.
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and product assortment to make recommendations for improvement.
• Assist in implementing promotional displays and signage to enhance product visibility.
• Follow company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Merchandiser or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Basic math skills for inventory management and pricing.
• Knowledge of proper handling and preparation of fresh products is a plus.
• Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
• Flexibility to work during weekends, holidays, or evenings, as required.
