Job Summary

The Procurement Manager will play a critical role in ensuring efficient and accurate procurement processes, maintaining inventory levels, and coordinating with suppliers and vendors. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a keen eye for detail.

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the procurement and inventory management processes. The Procurement Manager will work closely with suppliers and vendors, track product shipments, ensure accurate documentation, maintain inventory levels, and assist with sourcing activities. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to analyze sales data to make informed procurement decisions.

The main goal is to coordinate together with suppliers and partners to make sure the supply chain runs smoothly.
With high-level attention to detail and only delivering accurate work on time, you should be able to take a conversation and turn it into a high-quality document and instructions.

Responsibilities

Procurement and Supplier Management:
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers and vendors, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, resolving any issues or disputes promptly.

Order Processing and Shipment:
• Track product shipments and ensure timely delivery of orders, coordinating with suppliers and logistics providers.
• Verify and reconcile order details, shipping documents, and invoices to ensure accuracy.
• Arrange pick-up and delivery of goods, coordinating with relevant departments and stakeholders.

Inventory Management:
• Monitor sales data and trends to forecast demand and maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Ensure sufficient stock availability for hot-selling items and prevent stock outs.
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand product requirements and align procurement accordingly.

Import and Export Operations:
• Oversee import and export operations, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and customs procedures.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs agents, and logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective shipment of goods.
• Monitor and track shipments, resolve any logistics or customs-related issues, and maintain accurate records of import/export documentation.

Documentation and Records Management:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records, including purchase orders, contracts, and invoices.
• Organize and file procurement documentation in their correct location for easy retrieval.
• Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
• Create the company’s supply chain strategy.

Market Research and Sourcing:
• Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and new product offerings.
• Assist in sourcing activities, evaluating potential suppliers, and conducting supplier assessments.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative sourcing options without compromising quality.

Qualifications


• With a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar field.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and inventory management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or a relevant field.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
• Familiar with using Inventory Systems (e.g.: DEAR Inventory).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and make informed procurement decisions.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of the automotive industry or electric mobility solutions is a plus.
• Ready to take part in weekly direct sessions, either at night or during the day.
