Responsibilities:

Demand and Replenishment Strategy

• Works with cross-functional teams including Inventory, Outbound Logistics, Inbound Logistics, and Merchandising to ensure proper demand forecasting and replenishment.

• Analyze and develop demand forecasting and replenishment strategies

Demand Forecasting

• Develop effective forecasting models based on industry trends and demand patterns.

• Review past sales trends, investigate demand factors, prepare forecast data, and evaluate forecast results.

Order and Delivery Monitoring

• Manage inventory at a healthy level below target with optimal safety stock to ensure no stockouts.

• Monitor bad inventory levels (SKUs that are slow and not moving) and ensure inventory levels are within target.

Forecast Accuracy

• Drive continuous improvement of forecast accuracy and forecasting processes to positively impact stock-outs, inventory shrinkage, shelf availability, sales and margins.

ABC Analysis

• Classify products into three categories (A, B, C) and determine their importance.

• Optimize inventory levels and achieve efficient use of budget.

Demand and Replenishment Policy, SOP, and Process Improvements

• Develop and implement demand and replenishment improvement projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, or related field

• At least 1 year of work experience in demand forecasting and planning
