Job Description
  1. Promote good business relations by establishing customer focus and marketing strategies.
  2. Identify cutting-edge ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking potential new clients and their accomplishments and recording this information in a central file accessible to all RLB managers and executives.
  3. Locate and propose potential business contracts/projects and opportunities by contacting potential new customers; discovering and exploring those opportunities to commence a relationship that will allow for proposal, or at least an expression of interest to be submitted to the potential client.
  4. Protect RLB's value by keeping all information confidential and strictly internal.
  5. Enhance the reputation of RLB by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; and exploring opportunities to add value to projects and clients.
  6. Report to the QS Division Head, Assistant Vice President and Vice President for VisMin knowledge and evidence of any employee of RLB Philippines in breach of ethical, legal and moral behaviors.
  7. Represent RLB at all functions and proceedings as requested by the QS Division Head, Assistant Vice President and Vice President for VisMin. Perform other duties that are incidental to his office or as entrusted to him by the Board of Directors.
  8. Be an exemplar of professionalism to all staff to build a culture of excellence at par with international standards.
  9. Report every week to the Chairman and President on the results achieved on new business development and infrastructure; existing projects; customer payment collections.
  10. Take part in the management planning, strategic planning, and new business strategy design of the organization to ensure continuity of its business as well as enhancements for its future expansion.
  11. Responsible in meeting the organization’s overall operation requirements in relation to the accuracy and on-time submission of design and/or budget proposals and project reports in the Quantity Surveying Department.
  12. Rectify probable error in the department’s submission with utmost courtesy to untarnish the relationship between customer and organization.
  13. Mainly responsible for the administration of all documentation pertaining to the quality measures of Project/s Quantity Surveyors, and Cost Engineering.
  14. Assure that all quality related procedures are implemented and maintained on its day-to-day operations.
  15. Guarantee that management quality policy and objectives, assignments, delegations and methods are achieving the required results (on time, according to agreed specifications and within budget) as stated in the organization’s quality system documents that will ensure the organization’s continuing stability and effectiveness in its quality system.
  16. Review all quality nonconformance reports and will initiate the necessary corrective action to prevent recurrence.
  17. Monitor any reports submitted to customers, including but not limited to, design and cost budgets, service fee proposals supporting documents or settings.
  18. To see that the right and competent people are representing the organization in bid conferences and project meetings and that proper document are submitted.
  19. Review any change orders and will suggest strategies to resolve whatever kind of conflicts arising out of the project.
  20. Exemplifies qualities that will motivate employees of loyalty, teamwork and dedication to the organization.
  21. Any other work, projects or tasks as directed by the Senior Quantity Surveying Manager.
