Position Overview: Impala is seeking a highly analytical individual with a structured approach to data management. This role will primarily involve analyzing, extracting, and implementing technical documentation data (such as product instruction manuals) into our proprietary content management system (CMS). While the role has a strong analytical component, an understanding of design processes, especially related to content layout and typesetting, will be beneficial.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Content Analysis & Management:
· Analyze, extract, and structure content from PDF documents, then input into Excel files or our CMS.
· Use Excel to organize and manage data, especially in .csv and .xls formats.
· Work on large volume documents with projects that might reach thousands of pages.
· Implement structured content into our CMS in alignment with design guidelines.
· Liaise with the design team to ensure content compatibility and integrity.
· Research the market and apply AI solutions to facilitate content processing operations.
Team Collaboration:
· Assist team leaders in other ad-hoc duties and tasks as assigned.
· Provide insights into improving the content management process, drawing from analysis.
· Communicate feedback, challenges, and propose solutions to streamline workflows.
Requirements:
· Be smart.
· Be proactive, follow AI developments.
· Be an expert in Excel.
· Have strong analytical and organizational skills.
· Have experience working in content management systems.
· Have great English skills. The role will involve daily exchanges with foreign stakeholders.
· Be familiar with design processes, especially related to content layout and typesetting.
· Be familiar with the basics of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign.
· Be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to adapt to a fast-paced international work culture.
· Previous experience in content analysis or design is a plus.
