1. Responsible in preparing realistic, adaptable and accurate cost estimates based on detailed plans and specifications.
2. Conduct quantity take-off and estimate on the various stages of the project but not limited to:
3. Contract Design Estimate;
4. Definitive Office Estimate; and
5. Detailed Bill of Quantities.
6. Assists in the preparation of realistic, adaptable and accurate cost estimates based on schematic design and development design stages of the project.
7. Prepares cost studies and cost analysis for the MPF works.
8. Assists in preparing MPF reports submitted to clients, including but not limited to, project initial design and cost budgets, bid recommendation report and variation order evaluation.
9. Assists in the preparation of needed documents in any project meetings.
10. Assists in the preparation of MPF bid packages and other bid documents needed in the bidding process.
11. Ensures that all relevant Work Instructions and the organisation’s Quality Management System is being followed by and applied for all the works undertaken.
12. Ensures that all deliverables and submissions are being checked and reviewed by the concerned department heads prior to release.
13. Works collaboratively with colleagues and other trades to ensure highest standards of services to clients.
14. Attends to team meetings and contribute relevant ideas.
15. Upholds standards by adhering to all company policies and procedures.
16. Exemplifies qualities that would encourage staff loyalty, teamwork and dedication to the organisation.

Any other work or tasks as directed by the Senior Quantity Surveyor/Assistant Quantity Surveying Manager-MPF.
