Accounting Intern
AHEAD Education Group provides a learning experience that immerses students in AHEAD's
collaborative work environment. The 3-5 months internship program's goal is to give relevant
responsibilities to interns within their assigned department and expose students to business
systems and processes, as well as the professional environment.
Internship set-up can be pure online, hybrid, or full on-site, depending on the student's
preference. Transportation allowance will be provided for interns who prefer to work onsite.
Description:
● Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Finance & Accounting Officer.
● Review financial paperwork and procedures, provide recommendations and make
necessary changes.
● Assisting with financial reports and maintaining records of assets, liabilities, revenue and
expenditure, payments and other financial activities.
● Monitors and submits for mailing all periodic financial documents required, grants and
government agencies.
● Prepare and coordinate financial audits.
● Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
● Must be a current undergraduate student at a university with a relevant degree.
● In-depth understanding of the entire MS Office suite.
● Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities.
● A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.
● Can commit to the internship for a minimum of 3 months and can do online work
minimally (at least 4 hours a day) for 3-5 days a week.
