Responsibilities:

-Provide architectural planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading security measures for the protection of the organization's data, systems, and networks
-Ensuring that the organization's data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls
-Change passwords, enroll or re-register users in multi-factor authentication, and help users troubleshoot authentication issues
-Monitor and remediate workstation vulnerabilities in Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
-Respond to and remediate low-level incidents in Microsoft 365 Defender/Sentinel
-Assist Lead Security Engineer with the implementation of system security configuration

Qualifications:

-Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
-At least 5 years of experience in information technology with 3 years related experience in areas such as intrusion detection, incident response/handling, firewall administration, etc.
-Knowledge and understanding of information security standards and best practices
-Experience in Microsoft Defender or Sentinel is a plus
-Excellent organizational, time-management, and multi-tasking skills
-Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and teaching skills
-Related Certification such as CEH, Comptia A+, Sec+, ITILv3 is an advantage
