The Junior Copywriter is part of a team of writers responsible for managing the production of marketing content, including white papers, emails, ad copy, blogs, social media posts, landing page copy, product descriptions, press releases, etc. This role works within the Content Team, maintaining content process and governance tools, copyediting, writing artificial intelligence (AI) prompts, and other tasks. This role supports team project management and operations, especially the content publishing process.

Areas of Responsibilities

• Write content based on requests and creative briefs from the global Editorial Calendar SmartSheet tool. Conduct interviews or research as necessary. Revise drafts per input from approvers. Ensure the final draft has all necessary approvals and has gone through the quality control process before submitting it to the creative or web team.

• Work with other content and Brand and Reputation team members to edit, share updates, and cross-check details of related content (PR/Content/Social/etc.)

• Ensure all content ready for publishing has been tagged correctly for the web content management system (CMS) and digital asset management (DAM) tool.

• Work with the search engine optimization (SEO) team to ensure we are supporting prioritized keywords and topics.

Requirements:

• BA/BS degree in journalism, marketing, or a related field.

• 1-3 years of experience in copywriting/editing/journalism as part of an in-house team or an agency.

• 1-3 years of experience with Wrike, SmartSheet, or other project management tools.

• Prior experience developing content with a focus on business to business (B2B) solutions and technology is highly desirable.

• Must write and edit fluently in English.

• Quick learner who can understand company's solutions and concepts.

• Ability to write in and edit for company's tone and in a brand-right voice; familiarity with writing for global brands is a plus.

• Experience working with content SEO; experience with Semrush and BrightEdge is a plus.

• Experience working with global teams a plus.
