What You'll Do:
- Code with Excellence: Write robust, efficient code primarily in Ruby on Rails, along with unit tests, to meet our ambitious project goals.
- Collaborate and Innovate: Work closely with clients, users, and your teammates to define and refine both functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring we deliver solutions that truly resonate.
- Be a Trusted Advisor: Quickly grasp our clients’ industries and challenges, stepping into an advisory role to propose effective solutions.
- Architect Solutions: Design and architect technical solutions that align with client needs and industry best practices.
- Mentor and Guide: Share your expertise by providing mentorship to team members, helping them grow and succeed.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Team up with product managers, designers, and QA engineers to drive successful project delivery and foster a culture of teamwork.
- Own the Quality: Take responsibility for the technical quality of projects, ensuring thorough code reviews and timely resolutions of any issues.
- Stay Ahead of the Curve: Keep an eye on emerging technologies, proactively identifying opportunities for innovation that enhance our capabilities.
- Communicate Clearly: Simplify complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring everyone is on the same page.
- Lead by Example: Demonstrate a commitment to quality and continuous improvement in everything you do.
What We’re Looking For:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails development.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (Typescript, Coffeescript), with a familiarity of frameworks like Angular.
- Solid experience with databases, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
- Strong skills in GIT and familiarity with AWS services (ECS, EC2, S3, Route 53, SQS, SNS, SES, etc.).
- A proactive, independent, and collaborative mindset—driven and eager to learn.
- Experience with containerization (Docker, CircleCI) and frameworks like AngularJs and Angular is a plus.
