Job Overview:

The Medical Sales Representative is responsible for advertising, marketing and distributing pharmaceutical products to relevant medical establishments. Meet with doctors and hospital teams and make presentations to persuade potential clients to use the product which include medicines and prescription drugs to a variety of customers including general practitioners (GPs), hospital doctors, and pharmacists. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Be knowledgeable about the product.
2. Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion.
3. Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs.
4. Emphasize the features of products to highlight how they solve customer problems.
5. Answer questions about the products.
6. Negotiate prices and terms and prepare sales agreements.
7. Collaborate with colleagues in many different sectors.
8. Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships.
9. Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree related to health science.
2. One (1) year work experience as a Medical Representative or similar role.
3. Knowledge of MS Office.
4. Highly motivated and target driven with proven track record in sales.
5. Ability to travel frequently.
6. Strong negotiation and sales skills.
