Educational Background
Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in Sales - Retail/General or equivalent
Responsibilities
Meets with customers to drive product sales.
Finds new target markets and penetrates them to drive sales.
Work with customers to find what they want, create solutions and ensure a smooth sales process.
Attracting new customers, communicating with prospects on the phone or face-to-face, and advising clients how to match various furniture items.
Keeping track of inventory levels to ensure there is enough supply to meet demand
Providing customers with product knowledge and answering questions regarding pricing, delivery details, or repair services
Presenting mock living room or bedroom setups in the store to help potential buyers envision how items will look in their own home
Coordinating deliveries of furniture to customers’ homes or businesses
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
Assess customers needs and provide assistance and information on product features
Welcome customers to the store and answer their queries
Follow and achieve department’s sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
“Go the extra mile” to drive sales
Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas
Actively seek out customers in store
Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
Cross sell products
Handle returns of merchandise
Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service
Build productive trust relationships with customers
