  • In this role, you will be expected to dedicate 4-8 hours per day and work 5 days a week, with a 2-day rotating schedule for days off.

We are seeking an articulate and customer-focused Salon Receptionist with a strong background in phone-based customer service, ideally within a BPO or call center setting. As the first point of contact for our esteemed client, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional service and upselling services by efficiently handling calls, managing appointments, and ensuring a seamless salon experience. A native or near-native level of spoken English is essential to effortlessly engage with our diverse clients. Spanish fluency is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients via phone, delivering a warm and welcoming greeting while maintaining a professional demeanor.

  • Handle Inbound Calls: Answer incoming calls promptly, addressing client inquiries, scheduling appointments, and providing accurate information about services and offerings.

  • Perform Outbound Calls:  Appointment reminders and post visit follow ups

  • Scheduling Management: Efficiently manage the salon's appointment booking system, ensuring optimal scheduling to meet client preferences and staff availability.

  • Collaborate closely with salon staff to coordinate schedules, allocate resources, and manage walk-ins and cancellations effectively.

  • CRM management: Skillfully navigate CRM systems to access client records, appointment histories, and preferences, delivering personalized service that exceeds expectations.

  • Pleasantly upsell services during calls- Utilize active listening skills to comprehend client needs and suggest appropriate services or products to enhance their salon experience.

  • Customer Service Solutions: Handle client concerns and feedback with empathy and diplomacy, escalating issues when necessary to ensure swift resolution.

  • Inventory management (as relates to upsells): Assist in managing retail product inventory, tracking sales, and coordinating product orders as needed.

  • Provide administrative support: by performing tasks such as data entry, file management, and other salon-related tasks.

  • Uphold the salon's brand image and its reputation for outstanding customer service through every interaction.

  • Create your own Standard operating procedures (SOPs) and instruction manuals for your role to improve the business’ internal operations.


Qualifications:

  • At-least 2 years prior experience in a phone-based customer service role, preferably in a BPO or call center environment, showcasing exceptional communication skills.

  • Experience working with US business owners (brick and mortar) directly is a plus.

  • Native or near-native level of spoken English, with impeccable pronunciation, intonation, and grammar.

  • Spanish (Fluent/conversational) abilities a plus California has a large Spanish community.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, allowing you to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike.

  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to address client concerns diplomatically and collaboratively.

  • Professional and polished appearance, aligning with the salon's image and values.

  • Positive attitude, punctuality, and reliability in a fast-paced salon environment.

  • Flexibility in working varying shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required by the salon's schedule.

Additional Requirements:
- Must have a quiet workspace and possess a noise-canceling headset
