The Project Cost Engineer prepares the installation cost estimates, and bill of materials. They are also responsible for accurately calculating the cost of a potential project and providing that information to the company to secure the job.

• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
• Identify any potential problems or complications and recommend solutions.
•  Consult with clients, vendors, and other industry professionals to discuss and formulate estimates.
• Update and maintain cost databases.
•  Prepare estimates for use in bidding on contracts.
•  Review and ensure that estimates are accurate and complete.
• Collaborate with sales, project managers, architects, engineers, and other construction professionals.

JOB QUALIFICATION

• Completed a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or any related course.
• With at least 6 months of related working experience in a similar capacity
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with cost-estimating software and other industry-specific tools
• Familiarity with construction laws and regulations
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Preferably residing in Makati or nearby areas
