The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for proficiently performing detailed quality assurance and development (QAD) activities related to overseeing the implementation of the company's quality assurance programs and systems. They will monitor communications, documents and records for quality assurance, ensuring the integrity, security and confidentiality of information.
Responsibilities:
• Propose, recommend, develop, document, implement, audit and analyze quality assurance and management systems and programs, including SCP/SSOP, GMP/GWP/GLP, SOP , HACCP and other programs.
• Design sensory protocols, conduct training, calibrate sensory panels, and interpret sensory evaluation results using statistical analyses.
• Resolves nonconformities, investigates store-related comments, performs root cause analysis, documents results, and validates corrective actions; Identify and implement improvements to prevent recurrence.
• Process and coordinate the application and renewal of regulatory and legal permits, licenses, product certifications and other requirements related to food and packaging standards and safety.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in food technology, chemistry, chemical engineering or related field.
• At least (2) years of experience in food quality assurance and/or research and development, manufacturing or related fields.
• Must have basic knowledge of food technology, food engineering, food chemistry and microbiology; GMP, GWP and GLP (good manufacturing/warehouse/laboratory practices); • Experience implementing Integrated Management Systems (IMS) programs such as HACCP, ISO Systems, and SPC (Statistical Process Control) preferred in a food plant environment.
• Willing to be assigned in Danao City, Cebu.
