Job Description
WORK SCOPE: Mainly responsible in supporting, installing, configuring, maintaining and upgrading all company Networks and computer hardware. In charge of overseeing digital security. Diagnose and resolve problems in the network and resolves technical issues by diagnosing and troubleshooting common IT problems.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
• Performs daily IT technical and network administrative support to all employees
• Performs server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly
• Installs and configure basic and complex Applications (MS Office.MS 365, Google Workspace, Anti-Virus software, Browser, and etc) and hardware
• Monitors datacenter and server health using preexisting management tools and respond to hardware issues as they arise; help build, test, update, and maintain new servers as needed
• Manages security through access controls, backups and firewalls to ensure digital security of company Network from breaches, intrusions, viruses, hackers, and disaster recovery
• Creates and updates user accounts, permission, and passwords
• Helps define network and system policies and procedures
• Helps implement and manage data file archiving, disaster recovery, and back-up
• Installs, configures, and maintains set-up of computer networks, manage physical and virtual servers, and integrate automation process
• Ensures the connectivity of End Host to Company Network through Wi-Fi and Data cable
• Schedules and plans preventive maintenance in all IT Hardware and Software
• Maintains the network infrastructure & devices (router, access points, switches, cables & etc)
• Reviews system requirements and design innovative solutions
• Monitors network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses
• Gives recommendations on how to improve and secure network
• Identifies and troubleshoots network problems by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issue
• Oversees IT hardware and assets inventory including licenses, subscriptions, and its user assignments
• Coordinates with IT partners and vendors for IT operational and project related concerns
• Coordinates with internal IT teams to ensure smooth IT service delivery and operations
• Conduct research on the latest developments in information and technology as needed.
• Performs related tasks may be assigned from time to time by management
• Produce quality outputs and satisfy service level agreements with internal and external customers
• Lives out the Vision, Mission and Values of the organization
• Adhere to the company rules/regulations, policies, code of conduct/employee handbook, standard operating procedures, service quality, safety, security, business continuity, etc.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. EDUCATION: Graduate of Information technology or related
2. SKILLS
• At least 3 years of related work experience as Network Administrator and experience with tech support
• Must have experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
• Must have experience with remote desktop applications and helpdesk software
• Must have knowledge in system security and data backup/recovery
• Intermediate knowledge in MS Office applications and Windows/Linux/MAC OS
• Intermediate in both English & Tagalog oral & written communication
