Job Description



  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering

  • Preferably with at least 5 years experience in developing Systems & Policy procedures, System Analysis and Manualization of Process 

  • Preferably with SAP background

  • Must have excellent communication and analytical skills.

  • Must have strong planning skills;

  • Good communication and presentation skills;

  • Excellent problem-solving skills;


Duties & Responsibilities:

A.Systems and Procedures (on Major Business Processes)

  1. Develops systems and procedure on major and more complicated business processes and/or initiates improvement of existing business processes in accordance with the requirements, gathering, recording and analyzing data using systems analysis and design techniques, preparing the process flowcharts and instituting adequate control procedures.

  2. Supervises and reviews the work done by the Methods Analyst and provide necessary guidance and instructions to make sure that the desired objectives on the study conducted are met in accordance with the users requirements and/or process owners.

  3. Conducts orientation and assists the Methods Analyst in presenting and discussing with the process owners regarding the implementation of approved policies & procedures

  4. Monitors compliance of agreed policies and procedures with concerned process owners by conducting systems/process review/audit from time to time.

  5. Closely coordinates and assists the ITD (Programmer/Analyst) on computer-based projects specifically on areas of systems analysis/design and providing technical specifications.

B. Manualization/Forms Control

  1. Oversees the manualization of Company systems and procedures including design and control of forms which will serve as basic source and reference guide for the user department in:  

1.1. providing instructions to new staff members

1.2. Disseminating related information systems within the Company

1.3. Communicating management decisions concerning organization, policies and procedures

  1. Maintains and keeps all company systems manuals updated making sure that these are aligned and in accordance with current policies including organizational and procedural changes, if any.

  2. Reviews reasonableness of proposed forms designed by the Methods Analyst as required on newly developed systems as well as those revised existing forms, if any.

  3. Ensures that the proposed forms as evaluated by the Methods Analyst are within the set standards on forms design and consistent with the approved procedures.

  4. Controls the printing of reproduction of Company forms (either mimeographing or outside printing) including the maintenance of inventory levels of supplier-printed forms.

C. Engineering Works/Others

  1. Reviews the prepared plans and design of the proposed office/warehouse layouts for office modulars reconfiguration or office/warehouse renovation and submits the same to the MSD Manager for approval prior to presentation to requesting departments. Oversees as well the implementation of various engineering projects of the Company lie; construction/renovation or major repair of company’s offices and other company facilities.

  2. Coordinates with allied contractors, suppliers and other private and government agencies for the early delivery of needed materials and required permits for the timely completion of all related engineering projects.

  3. Supervises the office modular reconfiguration or office renovation of the requesting department making sure that the planned activities of the reconfiguration or renovation projects are on track and that the target completion date is met before it is turned over and ready for occupancy by the requesting department.

  4. Reviews the time and motion studies conducted by the Methods Analyst on various operations of the company particularly in the warehouse. Sees to it that the time standards set and cost estimates are accurate, achievable and realistic as these standards will be used in measuring the performance level of office or warehouse personnel in terms of productivity and efficiency as well as in costing purposes.

  5. Reviews and evaluates the cost benefit analysis studies and cost savings/reduction measures prepared by the Methods Analyst including other feasibility studies as maybe asked by the MSD Manager

  6. Performs other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned to the position from time to time.
