Vsee is looking for tech-savvy sales engineers to assist with selling our complex cloud-based platform. The Sales Engineer's responsibilities include maintaining extensive knowledge of the products' parts, functions, and processes and assisting to close sales where technical expertise may be required to fit the clients' needs.
To be successful as a sales engineer, you should possess an in-depth knowledge of our company's technical products and services and you should be able to relate this knowledge in a way that is understandable to non-technical customers. You should be driven to achieve your sales goals and should have excellent sales and customer service skills.
Prepare and develop technical presentations to explain our company's products or services to customers.
Discuss system requirements with customers and engineers.
Assist with complex pricing, design documentation, and proof of concepts.
Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
Collaborate with Sales on RFI/RFPs received.
Research, develop and modify products to meet customers' technical requirements and needs.
Solicit and log client feedback and evaluate the data to create new sales and marketing strategies to target customers.
Identify areas for improvement and communicate these issues as well as possible solutions to upper management.
Train other members of the sales team on the technical aspects of the company's products and services.
Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications:
3-5 years relevant work experience in a customer-facing, technical account management role. Managing customer care, call center, and/or back-office operations is preferred.
At least 3 years of experience in start-ups or high-growth companies is also preferred.
Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level.
Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce or HubSpot), MS Office (particularly MS Excel), and Google Suite.
SaaS and Cloud experience is an advantage.
Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.
Experience in technical support, project management, technical sales, and consultancy.
Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must be self-driven and able to work with minimal direction.
Ability to effectively communicate/sell across various audiences; sales, marketing, clients, product developers, engineers (internal and external).
Proven ability in maintaining positive and constructive work relationships with all work associates.
Solid technical background with hands-on experience in digital technologies.
The ability to relate technical information to non-technical customers.
You must be willing to work long, hard hours, and sometimes on weekends (as needed).
BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any IT-related degree. Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, HTML, CSS.
