Job Details

Position Title: Frontline Shift Manager

Reporting Relationship

The Frontline Team Leader directly reports to the Restaurant Manager

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Managing People

  1. Provides clear roles and responsibilities to frontlinwe team members
  2. Position and repositions team members effectively
  3. Breaks are given properly and timely to team members
  4. Provides specific and timely feedback (positive and corrective
  5. Provides coaching to enable the team members to achieve shift goals

Managing Service
Customer Relations

  1. Visible in the service area
  2. Interacts an initiates engagement with customers
  3. Presents a cheerful, positive attitude towards guests
  4. Solicits and appropriately responds to customer feedback
  5. Checks and directs team members and reinforces customer interaction

Service Quality

  1. Monitor and properly positions team memebers
  2. Assess service quality (SOS) when doing regular travel path
  3. Detects and rectifies service deviations promptly

Speed of Service

  1. Assesses speed of service on a regular basis
  2. Implements zoning
  3. Coordinated with the production area the floe of guests

Managing Cleanliness

  1. Attends to cleanliness of customer and non-customer areas
  2. Enforces food safety and cleanliness and sanitation procedures
  3. Follows merchandising guidelines and ensures these are clean and in good condition

Administrative Duties

  1. Does frontline manpower scheduling and allocation to be checked and approved by the restaurant manager
  2. Ensures equipment and facilities readiness
  3. Monitors performance and provide feedback
  4. Delegates duties and responsibilities to frontline team members

Position Title: Back of House Shift Manager

Reporting Relationship

The Back of House Team Leader directly reports to the Assistant Restaurant Manager

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operational Duties
Managing People

  1. Provides clear roles and responsibilities to kitchen team members
  2. Positions and repositions team members effectively
  3. Breaks are given properly and timely to team members
  4. Provides specific and timely feedback (positive and corrective)
  5. Provides coaching to enable the team members to achieve shift goals

Managing Production
Product Quality and Safety

  1. Checks the whole production area in terms of readiness
  2. Detects deviations in product quality, processes, food safety, and in other SOPs
  3. Calls the attention of kitchen team members executing sub standard procedure and makes recommendation on how to address the concerns
  4. Assesses prroduct quality on a regular basis (either by performing actual prodct quality check with RM or ARM and/or soliciting customer feedvack)

Product Availability

  1. Checks stocks/mis-eb-place items for availability based on forecast
  2. Monitors production flow and assist in kitchen bottleneck
  3. Coordinates production with ARM and FTL, including out-of-stock items and products to be pushed

Service Quality

  1. Monitors achievement of food serving time and other product related time standards
  2. Reponds to quality related concerns appropriately

Managing Cleanliness

  1. Attends to cleanliness of customer and non-customer areas
  2. Enforces food safety and cleanliness and sanitation procedures

Administrative Duties

  1. Does back of house manpower scheduling and allocation to be checked and approved by the Assistant Restaurant Manger
  2. Ensures kitchen matewrials, machines and methods are in place readiness
  3. Monitors cleanliness and maintenance of both customer and non-customer area
  4. Conducts regular meetings to team members
  5. Monitors performance and provide feedback
  6. Delegates duties and responsibilities to back of house team members

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's / College Degree in Food Technology / Nutrition / Dietetics / Business Studies / Food and Beverage Services Management/ Tourism / Hotel Management or equivalent
  • Required Language: English and Filipino
  • At least 4 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
  • Required Skill(s): Product Quality, Service Quality, Scheduling
  • Preferably Assistant Manager / Manager specialized in Food Beverage Restaurant Service or equivalent
